  • Condition: Refurbished with new Kurt rebuild kit - bearings, seals, brushes, washers, half-dome; repainted. Some mill marks on vise body and jaws are present, but do not detract from the usefulness of this tool.

    Description

    For sale is a nice Kurt D810 vise in excellent condition. This solid tool needed to be refurbished, so it was completely disassembled and the bare metal moving parts were replaced using genuine Kurt parts. The painted parts were stripped to bare metal and primed and painted with multiple coats of rust resistant paint in the original Kurt color.  Grease was applied to the moving parts and the vise was reassembled. This is a large, heavy tool with a shipping weight of approximately 170 lbs. I will ship this vise via UPS ground or FedEx Ground to the 48 continental states in two packages. The stationary and articulating jaws will be removed and shipped separately. This will bring the remaining weight below the 150 lb limit for non-freight shipping.  You will need to reattach the jaws (a very simple, 5 minute process) when it arrives. If you prefer a freight shipment and are willing to make all arrangements - including pick up at my address - I will prepare it for that at no additional charge.
